Post-Genting syndrome

So we spent a much deserved weekend in Genting Highlands, and ended up heading to the land of the pre-historic, visited space, took a couple of spins in extremely slow cars, and well… spent a whole lot of time together. and… i miss it, still.

This, ladies & gentlemen, is by far one of my most challenging photo yet.

Two weeks now, and I’ve still been hooked to mainly DeVotchka’s cover of Siouxie and The Banshees’ “The last beat of my heart”.

That isn’t the gist of why I’m blogging. Thing is, I’ve learnt since godknowswhen is that “Do not do unto other what you do not do unto self,” and this one too, “as ye shall reap, ye shall sow”. (messing up all the APA citation I learned in school)

Tonight, when your unceremonious ring tone chirped in your ecstatic staccato, somehow or rather, my smiled resembled more of a child receiving his first bicycle.

These few weeks you drew apathy across yourself, and refused to reply to my hounding messages. It hurt deep, real deep. I wish I could’ve done more, but what?

Granted, that I’ve not been loving you the way I did, or rather, we did. It’s only because of a bruised trust, faith, or whatever you wanna call it. Days without are no less than brutal, I feel the sickening need to find you. Stake right outside your dainty semi-detached terrace, hoping you would give in, hoping you’d find me again. But something’s holding me back, it’s you.

I’m not the most righteous boy on earth, and absolutely filled with flaws that not just anyone can accept, I thought you could, and I thought you would.

I love you for you, your cracks in your beauty, the nape of your neck, your flattered lips, your scent, your kisses, sodden conversations about your mood, and most of all, (ironically) your sarcasm.

I would venture anything with you, I don’t mind poking in the dark, running around like two headless chickens, only to find ourselves a dead end. I live, and breathe for you.

Nothing makes sense with whatever I would do, and do with you. On the contrary, it’s perfect, at least to me.

I would still do all of this, for you, a thousand, a million, times over and over. Repeat.

I’ve dreamed about you for 20 years before I saw you. I’ve never been able to express how I’ve felt for you, and I don’t think I ever can.

I don’t hate you, and I never will. You came into my life with such amazing grace, and left impromptu.
